The St. Edward's University Archives, founded in 1958 by Brother Philip Odette, C.S.C., houses, collects, organizes, preserves and makes available information documenting the human record of St. Edward's Academy, College, High School, Military Academy, and University from approximately 1871 to the present. Our holdings reflect a unique documentation of a small, private Catholic school in Texas and its struggles and successes toward becoming the institution it is today.
The Archives office is located in the Munday Library in room 113. For more information, please contact the Archives Librarian, Megan Blair, at email@example.com or (512) 428-1047.
By appointment only Monday through Friday.
Archival Digital Collections
The archival digital collections and exhibits are composed of unique digitized and born-digital materials from the St. Edward’s University Archives and reflect the work of St. Edward’s University students, faculty, and staff. Included in the collections are digitized copies of St. Edward’s University Yearbooks, as well as the student creative works publication, Sorin Oak Review, and the student-run journal featuring academic writing, Arete. As of the winter of 2015/2016, the library's digital collections website is currently under active development, but the collections themselves may temporarily be accessed by clicking here.
