Reserves Request Form

Please allow up to three days for processing after request is submitted and/or items are dropped off before items may be available for checkout. You can confirm that items are available for reserve checkout through the Library Catalog.

If you would like to place materials on reserve that are not in our collection, you should contact your Subject Librarian to suggest an item for purchase.  It is not recommended that you place your own personal material on reserve unless the item is out-of-print and cannot be ordered.  The library cannot be held responsible for personal materials that are damaged while on reserve.

If you do wish to place a personal item on reserve, it may be sent to the library via campus mail (Reserves, Box 1037) or dropped off at the Library Information Desk. If left at the desk, please ensure that you speak with a staff member to let them know that the item is for reserve. Do not leave items on the counter or in book drops.

Form Instructions

For each item in our collection (books, videos, DVDs) provide: call numberauthor (or production company), title, and edition (if necessary) and indicate a recommended loan period. If our collection has more than one copy of the material, indicate how many copies you would like placed on reserve In addition, note any special instructions to Circulation staff in the comments field.
