The SEU Disability Services office offers assistance for students with medical, learning and psychiatric disabilities. Their services include negotiating extra time for assignments, alternate testing locations, alternate format for course textbooks, and more. - Kurzweil 3000
The Library has two computers loaded with Kurzweil 3000 Version 12 and scanners. This software has text-to-speech capabilities, along with tools to help people who struggle with reading text. For assistance, Ask a Librarian or check our the Kurzweil 3000 website. - Text-to-Speech in Library Databases
Many library databases and research tools, including Academic Search Complete and Gale Virtual Reference Library, have text-to-speech capabilities. Try them out to hear article read to you, or Ask a Librarian for help!
