General Information

• There are over 90 computers in the library including the 2nd Floor Computer Classroom (Room 203), which is open when there is not a class in session.  Please be aware that you may be asked to leave the lab if there is a class scheduled in the room.
• We have special equipment for reading microform, magnifying text, watching VHS and DVDs with groups, two scanners, and two copiers that take Topper Tender.  We also have Kurzweil Software to assist students with disabilities.
• Quiet study spaces along the back walls on both the first and second floors of the library provide comfortable seating and lighting for studying.

Group Study Rooms

Our group study rooms are equipped with large, mounted monitors that can connect to a laptop or the computer in the room.  They are perfect for practicing presentations or collaborating on group assignments.  For more information on reserving a room and the equipment inside each room, check out our Group Study Rooms page.

Printing

Printing is free for St. Edward's University students, faculty and staff.  Printers are located on the 1st Floor and the 2nd Floor in the Computer Classroom (Room 203).  You can also print from your laptop or any on-campus computer by using our wireless printing service, EdPrint.

Archives and Special Collections

Find St. Edward's University yearbooks dating back to the 1920's, University publications back to the 1800's, rare books and more.

New Media Center

The New Media Center is a space to work on high-end digital projects, including video and graphics editing.  You can also check out equipment like digital video cameras.  For more information, check out the New Media Center page.

Student Lounge

• There is a student lounge with a microwave, phone, tables and seating, as well as vending machines with drinks and snacks.  The vending machines take cash or Topper Tender.
• There is free coffee in the mornings upon request.
• Free doughnuts and coffee are available in the lounge to students on a first come, first serve basis every Wednesday at 9am.  Everyone likes a doughnut - please take one and leave some for your fellow Hilltoppers!
