TexShare Card Application

You can fill out the application below, or visit the Library Services Desk to apply for a TexShare Card. Please allow one business day to process the application.

TexShare cards will be issued to St. Edward's University students, faculty, staff members whose borrower records indicate a history of responsible use of library materials. TexShare cards issued to students, adjunct faculty, and staff will expire at the end of each semester on May 15, August 15, or December 15. Cards issued to regular faculty will expire on August 15 of each year.

Present your TexShare card to the Library Services Desk of the library at which you wish to borrow materials and you wil be issued a courtesy borrowers card. In addition, you will be asked to present a valid SEU ID card or other identification. Ordinarily, patrons with TexShare cards will not be allowed to check out material between semesters at other academic libraries. 

Please note: a courtesy card does not allow remote access to electronic resources.

I understand that I will be held responsible for all charges that I incur as a borrower at a TexShare library. Munday Library privileges may be blocked if you fail to abide by the lending library's policies, especially regarding returning books or paying bills.

Students: I understand that I am liable for any overdue or lost book fines, processing fees or charges for damaged materials that may result from my use of the TexShare card. Failure to pay such amounts may result in said amounts being placed on my student account through the Business Office.

Faculty and Staff: I understand that I am liable for any overdue or lost book fines, processing fees or charges for damaged materials that may result from my use of the TexShare card. Failure to pay such amounts may result in said amounts being deducted from my final paycheck.
